Roundup Cancer Lawsuit Settlement Announced.
Lawyers involved with thousands of Roundup cancer lawsuits have informed the court hearing the cases that they have settled their clients’ claims that the weed killer caused cancer. A previous proposed settlement announced in June involving a 10 billion dollar settlement fund and a proposed advisory panel to consider future cases was never finalized and the judge was skeptical regarding its fairness to future victims of the carcinogenic product.
Does the Roundup Cancer Lawsuit Settlement Cover Everyone?
The current Roundup Cancer Lawsuit Settlement does not cover all claimants. However, the federal judge hearing these cases has scheduled a hearing for September 24 to hear from the lawyers involved in those cases and, presumably, to get a read on how other cases might be resolved.
What are the terms of the Roundup Cancer Lawsuit Settlement?
The terms of the settlement have not been announced because they are private settlements between individual claimants and Bayer AG.
Can I submit a claim if I have been injured by Roundup?
Yes. There are many thousands of claims that have not yet been resolved. You may still have time to submit a claim if you have been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and routinely used Roundup weed killer.
